The wedding of Gwyllam and Jess was a pleasure to photograph. Gwyllam and Jess came to see me for a chat and I instantly knew the wedding would be relaxed, Jess wasn’t keen on being in front of the camera and wanted to feel relaxed and not pressured. I arrived in the morning and took pictures of the dress/shoes etc and the ‘turtle’ which was just so cute! I then left Jess in peace to get ready without the pressure of cameras and went to the church in Kirk Hallam! The day was sunny and raining but luckily for us the sun shone when needed and the rain came when we were all inside!

On to the venue….the Seven Oaks Inn & Restaurant which had been styled with an array of vintage(ness)!!! From teacups and telephones to old bicycles, it was clear that nothing had been forgotten….styled by Memorable Events who was none other than Mother of the Groom meant that every detail was given its upmost attention. After some time photographing the lovely bride and groom, afternoon tea was served, followed by the speeches!

A little game of poker, a bit of fun in the rain and evening guests arrived, music, dancing, drinks and laughter and this wedding was well on the way to being an exceptional day, with hard work from both families to create such a special and ‘memorable’ event!!! And they definately did that!
